The Razer DeathAdder Elite has a very precise optical sensor of 16,000 DPI whereas the Razer Lancehead has a 16,000 DPI laser sensor.
Both of these mouses have dedicated DPI buttons that allow you to adjust the dpi on the fly according to your needs.
Battery life and Charging
One of the main setbacks of using a wireless mouse is battery life. As claimed by Razer, the Razer Lancehead offers a battery life of up to 24 hours on a single charge considering you have enabled Chroma lighting.
You can even boost up the battery life if you disable the RGB lighting.
The wireless Lancehead comes with a 2.4 GHz wireless dongle. Razer is using AFT short for Adaptive Frequency Technology(AFT) that is responsible for handling wireless communication.

Razer DeathAdder Elite Review
I even prefer it for my regular use. The Razer DeathAdder Elite is a wired mouse. It can also be maximized up to 16,000 DPI and includes an optical sensor.
Since the DeathAdder Elite contains an optical sensor which comes in very helpful if you are gaming competitively and need very fine tracking.
DeathAdder has 7 programmable buttons and is for right-handed use. Overall DeathAdder offers a lot of features at a very affordable price.

After reviewing both in great detail, it’s clear thatRazer DeathAdder Elite and Razer Lancehead both of them are very good gaming mice. They even perform very well for normal day to day usage.
If you are looking for a gaming mouse that has the glitz and glamour of a gaming mouse then you can buy the Razer Lancehead because it has better RGB lighting and has an overall better design than the DeathAdder Elite.
The Razer Lancehead is wireless hence it is much more portable than the DeathAdder Elite.
However, my personal favorite is the DeathAdder Elite because I am more comfortable with the right-handed shape it has, it’s wired so I do not need to worry about the battery running out and it is significantly lighter than the Razer Lancehead which is ideal for my daily use.
