YouTube Videos Get Interactive
Reading through my daily does of Internet News I came across a really interesting feature added to YouTube.
The feature allows users to make their videos more interactive with users allowing the people watching to participate in the actual video.
The new features allows users to;
- To add background information about the video
- Create stories with multiple possibilities (viewers click to choose the next scene)
- Link to related YouTube videos, channels, or search results from within a video
The feature is called Video Annotations and there are a few videos which demonstrate how these videos will look like, here is a nice little card trick which requires user interaction.
If you are looking to create such videos you can head over to the help section which discusses how to create Video Annotations.

Here is an example of a YouTube video using annotations to drive a golf cart on the roads of Put-in-Bay, OH. It’s called, “Grand Theft Golf Cart Put-in-Bay”.
