Many of you may already know by now that Wordpress 2.2 codename "Getz" has been released and many of you may also have upgraded already. Wordpress 2.2 adds a new feature called Wordpress Widgets that allows you to add widgets to your sidebar. Gary King ^[1] has written a great article at Blog Herald ^[2] to enable sidebar widgets for your theme. So if you have still not widgetized your theme, I recommend you read the post. Wordpress widgets is available as a option in Theme Editor and you directly drag and drop widgets into the sidebar. So go ahead read the tutorial and Widgetize your theme.
