Widgetize your theme with wordpress 2.2

Many of you may already know by now that WordPress 2.2 codename “Getz” has been released and many of you may also have upgraded already. WordPress 2.2 adds a new feature called WordPress Widgets that allows you to add widgets to your sidebar.

Gary King has written a great article at Blog Herald to enable sidebar widgets for your theme. So if you have still not widgetized your theme, I recommend you read the post.

WordPress widgets is available as a option in Theme Editor and you directly drag and drop widgets into the sidebar.

So go ahead read the tutorial and Widgetize your theme.
