Strange mysql errors (connection lost) but in the end the "manual" upgrade worked. I can send you the log files if you want. @Scoot: Which hosting plan are you using? The last version, when I clicked the 'update Wordpress Database" link, would take me to myblog.com/wp-admin/upgrade.php instead of myblog/*wordpress*/wp-admin/upgrade.php Also, due to the same type of snafu, the javascripts aren't linked properly in the WPAU page in Admin->Manage-> /wordpress/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-automatic-upgrade/js/* Note the DOUBLED wordpress. I have had problems with the plugin and can't figure it out. BTW I'm not a coder so I may not be much help, but I get to the point where it's supposed to go into maintenance mode, but it just doesn't. I have had certain problems with my hosting service and plugins in the past. I wonder if that may be it, but I don't know. My hosting service is Go Daddy.
