And here we are with the results of the first giveaway we ever hosted – For All Those Who Love Windows Phone. Much thanks to each of you for incredible participation and raising stakes of this site as a community of Windows Phone fans.
From apps to wallpapers to ideas to blog posts to randomness, we had all kinds of submissions. All submissions were in the comments, so everyone can take a look and hopefully will agree with the winners.
Of course, we had to pick winners too. Tom Warren and Ginny Caughey promptly agreed to be the judges of the contest when I requested them. Tom is the owner of popular WinRumors blog where he writes facts and thoughts on Microsoft and gets away masking them as rumors. Ginny is a Windows Phone MVP and can be mistaken for the official @wp7dev Twitter account for the useful developer posts that she bookmarks and tweets all the time. The judges picked up their favourite submissions and then the three of us ranked them with points.
Without any further ado, here are the winners. *drumrolls*
Martin Anderson and Kumar Priyanshu are the runners up and win themselves a small hamper of Microsoft swag. And the overall winner who gets a Steve Ballmer signed Windows 7 Ultimate Commemorative Edition is Colin Eberhardt. Ganesh NJ and Rushabh Gosar were close, and a shame that they couldn’t end up winning. Big props to all the participants, and congratulations to the winners.
