Windows Phone 7 is now a wireless Sonos Controller
Phonos is an independent application for Windows Phone 7 for Sonos – the popular multi-room music system. Phonos is not free unlike Sonos’s iPhone application since it is not endorsed by or associated with Sonos, Inc.
The application requires Sonos hardware plus some software to be installed on your Windows PC which your phone connects to via Wi-Fi, and that software connects to your Sonos equipment.
In its current version, the application does not completely replace your Sonos controllers since some features like Linking or Dropping Zones, Alarms, and System settings are not yet available.
