Nokia India has finally announced the launch of their new flagship phone – the Nokia Lumia 925 – to extend the Lumia portfolio in India.
The new Nokia Lumia 925 introduces metal for the first time to the Nokia Lumia range. It is a suavely designed phone with a stylish metal-polycarbonate body. The metal frame on the Lumia 925 not only draws attention to the phone’s design, but also lends robustness and functions as an antenna.
The 4.5-inch AMOLED display offers superior brightness and sunlight performance. Nokia claims that the new AMOLED display makes it possible to view the content from more angles, and new features and advances in the PureView imaging technology allows capturing even clearer, sharper pictures.
“With the Nokia Lumia 925, we have introduced metal to the Lumia range in a sleek, light weight design that consumers will love along with enhanced imaging capabilities – both reiterating Nokia’s commitment to advance experiences on the Nokia Lumia portfolio.”

Nokia Lumia 925 also introduces the new Nokia Smart Camera mode, coming as part of the Amber update to all Lumia Windows Phone 8 smartphones. Nokia Smart Camera offers an easy way to capture ten images at once and edit the pictures with options like Best Shot, Action Shot, and Motion Focus for creating the perfect high quality image.
Of course, that is in addition to Nokia exclusives like the HERE suite of integrated location and navigation services and Nokia Music for unlimited streaming of free music playlists. It also comes pre-loaded with the newly launched Flipkart eBooks app.
Nokia Lumia 925 has 16GB of internal memory, but does not include a SD-card slot for extending storage. The phone is available at a best buy price of INR 33,499.
