It’s a Torch, It’s a Light… It’s a WinMo
By on December 23rd, 2009

SpoonTorch is a useful, lightweight application for your Windows Mobile device to use your phone’s screen as a light. The app creates a full-screen white screen with maximum brightness to give you a light source when you need one in dark lanes or parking places.

SpoonTorch

SpoonTorch allows for the screen to make the whole screen turn white on application start. A single tap closes the app. Switching to full-screen sets the brightness to maximum, but the old settings are restored on exit from the full-screen.

The application works on both Touch and Non-touchscreen devices, and requires .NET Compact Framework 3.5. The application can be downloaded from xda-developers here (free registration required).
