How to get full-resolution photos from your Windows Phone 7
When you share or upload a photo from Windows Phone 7 to SkyDrive, it is stored at a Web-optimized resolution (720×540). This is not a configurable setting on the Windows Phone, so all photos will be stored at this resolution.
However, via the Zune software on your PC, you can get the full-resolution photos from your Windows Phone 7 to your computer.
- Connect your Windows Phone 7 to your PC.
- In the Zune software, click SETTINGS, click PHONE, and then click PICTURES & VIDEOS.
- In the Image Quality section, choose the Original option to sync photos at their full resolution.
