Can Windows Phone 7 handle two messenger Apps?
By on February 8th, 2011

Li’Messenger is the new app to be released on Windows Phone Marketplace for Windows Live Messenger. It will run parallel to the existing Messenger app from Miyowa. The app is released by C&R Holdings and interestingly comes at no charge with no ads.

Li’Messenger includes support for Facebook chat. Also, it is unique in the sense that you need not sign out of other places you are currently signed in to use Messenger service by using the Multiple Points of Presence (MPOP) feature. These two value propositions make it better in terms of functionality offering.

The major negative of the app is that it lacks notifications of instant message and can be really uncool at times. I hope developers will make a note of it and release updated version soon.
