A neat utility to boost performance: CleanRAM

CleanRAM is a neat and useful utility which helps you to clean up the unutilized RAM memory without having to restart your WinMo device.

cleanRAM is optimized for Windows Mobile devices from HTC with HTC TouchFLO interface (HTC Diamond/HTC Touch Pro), however it works on several WinMo 6.x devices. It releases as much memory as possible without damaging the internal state of your WinMo.

The application provides three levels of cleanup – Level 1 – Basic purge, Level 2 – Quality Purge, and Level 3 – Fundamental purge. Once a cleanup is executed, the application specifies the amount of memory it has reclaimed. You can also schedule automatic cleanups and select processes you want to skip/ignore in the cleanup process.

Most WinMo users prefer to soft reset their phones once a day to clean up RAM and memory leaks. However, a consistent use of this application takes care of that, and saves the reset time.

    You can also schedule your mobile to soft reset or reboot at night when you go to sleep so you won't see any downtime & the phone starts back up in 1 min or less. ;)
