If you have a habit of regularly commenting on other blogs then you may no the pain you have to go through to fill all the information in the fields.

Pre-fill comments is a Greasemonkey script that allows you to pre fill the name, email and url fields and focus on the comments box where you can simply add your comments.

The script works with a simple shortcut key Alt+C. Pressing this combination will ask you for your name, email and website for the first time. After that whenever you press Alt+C it will automatically populate the informaion.

If you want to change the values for the comments you can simply press Shift+Alt+C and it will prompt you for the new details.

Now isn’t it a great script which makes your life much more easier and commenting a piece of cake.

Go ahead and install it from here.

If you want to use the script you will have to first install the Greasemonkey extension and restart firefox.

Do let me know through your comments it the script will be useful to you. Also do tell me if you use any other tools to make commenting a better experience.

Note: We discourage users from using keywords in their names while posting comments, most of them get caught by spam, also it really would be more fruitful in knowing people who comment by their real name, rather than by using a name no one relates to. In future we reserve the right to delete comments from users using a name other than their own.
