Jing a popular screencasting software from TechSmith turned one today, and to celebrate the occasion, the Jing team has decided to increase the storage space to 2GB and also double the monthly bandwidth to 2GB.

jing-logo We have used Jing to create screencasts earlier, and we must say that the software in itself is quite impressive. The only thing that did not impress us, was the limited bandwidth we got while uploading the video captures to screencast.com. Frankly speaking the 1GB bandwidth cap is not sufficient, and our bandwidth exhausted within a few days of posting a WordPress plugin video, though not much of a problem, we did have to move the video to YouTube in a bid to keep it alive.

The move to increase bandwidth and disk space will definitely help them win quite a few followers. Have fun with the added disk space and bandwidth.

Note: We discourage users from using keywords in their names while posting comments, most of them get caught by spam, also it really would be more fruitful in knowing people who comment by their real name, rather than by using a name no one relates to. In future we reserve the right to delete comments from users using a name other than their own.
