Most of the laptop users do not shutdown their PC and make use of the Stand By or Hibernate mode so that they can quickly start working from where they had left earlier. Many a times you may not know since how long your PC has been running since you last restarted it.
Quite some time back we had talked about a useful tip to view the uptime of Windows since the last restart [1] using a command line tool called systeminfo.
If you are not much of a command line user and prefer a graphical tool, Windows Elapsed Running Time [2] is a small utility which will allow you to see the uptime of your system in a graphical format without having to use the command line.

Windows Elapsed Running Time is a small utility that shows the time elapsed since Windows was started. Its compact interface takes up very little desktop space, so you can have the uptime always visible using the always on top option. It can show also the elapsed days/hours in the taskbar icon.
This software may not be very useful but nevertheless if you ever wanted to know how much time your system has been online since the last reboot you can give it a try.
