Convert Document Files To PDF Format By Sending A Email To Koolwire

Ever felt lazy to convert your files to PDF even though there are real good tools to do this online. Koolwire makes it easy and lazy by allowing you to send emails attachments to them which will then be converted to PDF format and send back to you.

The only thing you have to do is send a email to a robot email and it will send you back your documents which are converted into PDF format.

This is a service I recommend when you quickly want to convert a document into PDF but do not have access to anything except emails. Koolwire definitely makes it a breeze you. Below is a quote from the Koolwire site.

No software to purchase, download and install. No time wasted in waiting for your computer to finish its conversion task. Concentrate your efforts and the resources of your PC on what really matters and let Koolwire take care of the rest. Let US do the job!

How to Convert Files Using Koolwire?

Converting your files to a PDF format could never be easier. It just takes 3 steps with minimal work on your end to convert a document to the PDF format.

Features

Multiple File Formats supported for conversion

Koolwire supports multiple file conversions to the PDF format. It supports conversion from regular Word documents, Excel documents, Powerpoint documents, Rich Text Format and Text files (TXT).

In addition to that it also supports conversion of image files such as JPEG and GIF to the PDF format.

Convert Multiple Files at once

You can also attach multiple files that need to be converted to PDF format making it easier to do batch PDF conversions at the same time.

Privacy Issues

Well like always your email address will not be distributed to others as per the site policy but there is a small issue I had as I could not determine with the FAQ what they do with the documents that they receive via email from us. This is really speculative and it may mean that they are storing the documents on their servers somewhere making me refrain from using this service for sensitive documents.

Summarizing

This is definitely a great service, but with the big question mark on privacy we would definitely not use it for any sensitive documents. We were really surprised that such a useful service did not address this issue openly. I even read their entire legal documents and had no mention about this.

Let me know your thoughts about this service and how it works for you.

Hi, thank you for sharing this. It’ll be a great alternative, so I could be less relying on my OpenOffice PDF feature.

But then on second thought.. I rather worry too much with the privacy and confidenciality issues.. Do you have suggestions for me? For now, I have no choice but to stick with my OpenOffice.

I just tried KoolWire with my regular documents and some pics anyway. It works quite well.
