Shutting down or restarting windows is a tedious process with users having to close all open application windows before issuing the Shutdown command, not that it is required but this is a process usually followed by many people including me.

Close All Windows is a handy freeware that will close all application windows with a single click, Pretty handy if you want to quickly shutdown or restart your PC.

When you click on the Close All Windows it issues a close signal to all the open windows without using additional system resources.

You can always add a hotkey to this shortcut. It is really very handy if you are running ~20 applications and want them all to quit instantly. It works just as if you were pressing the close button for each application.
