Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic Koala is just around the corner, due for a release next month. If that doesn’t excite you enough, then take a look at the release schedule for the version that comes after it Ubuntu 10.04 Lucid Lynx, which will be a Long Term Support Release, providing three years of updates for desktops and five years of updates for servers.
