Lifehacker one of my favorite blogs is running a contest where users can submit their best life hack and win a autographed book Upgrade Your Life. One of the tips submitted by a user today was truly fascinating and I could not help but write about it.

The simple tip allows you to easily embed a To Do list right on your Desktop for easy access. The trick involves creating a simple html file and using Active Desktop to embed the html file onto the desktop.

If that was not enough Denis who submitted the hack also shows a way to easily edit the to do list quiet amazing thing I must say. Check out a screen shot of the To Do list on the desktop.

Check out the trick to embed to do lists on your desktop and get yourself organized better. One of the commenter also commented about having your Google Notebook as your active desktop so you can access your to list from anywhere super cool.

Note: We discourage users from using keywords in their names while posting comments, most of them get caught by spam, also it really would be more fruitful in knowing people who comment by their real name, rather than by using a name no one relates to. In future we reserve the right to delete comments from users using a name other than their own.
