Windows Live does a Google Pack

Many of you maybe quite aware that Google bundled all the software’s into one suite and offered it as Google Pack. The suite contained both Google Products including Google Desktop, Gtalk, Google Earth, Picasa, Google Screensavers as well other free ware software’s like PDF reader, anti-spyware etc. The Google Pack also came with a Updater that allowed you to update all the installed software’s.
Windows Live is now also offering a similar suite [1] with a all in one installer that downloads and installs Sign-in assistant, Windows Live Messenger, Live Writer, Live Desktop Mail, Live Toolbar and Live Photo Gallery which is photo gallery manager similar to Picasa.
The installer will also upgrade the software’s if there are available in the future. But with the bundled software you have to install everything, even though you may eventually not use all of them.
I personally used the installer to upgrade all my software’s since I use most of them on a day to day basis except for Toolbar, so it made more sense to me to let it upgrade my installed software’s rather downloading each and every one of them and updating them.
If you do not want to download and install all the software, you can visit the Live Betas [3] page to download the individual software’s rather than the entire suite.
