Firefox 3 has a nice little Address Bar which many like to call AwesomeBar, it can be used to show you results as you type from your history and bookmarks.

CyberSearch takes the awesome bar to another level by allowing you to search Google, Wikipedia and several other sources which you can add yourself by using smart keywords from within the Firefox Address Bar.

For example if you want to search Google for a particular term, you can search by using “gweb your keywords”, you can also use “gblog your keywords” to search using Google Blog search. There are several other searches you can perform with ease using predefined keywords, the search experience can be customized by creating you own keywords.

CyberSearch is based on AwesomeSearch (now Searchery) a Firefox extension that allowed you to search from the Firefox Address Bar. The CyberSearch extension definitely is a must have for users since it will make your life easier when it comes to search for data. The fact that it allows you to create a mashup of search results from websites by clubbing it with a signal keyword is a added advantage.

Note: We discourage users from using keywords in their names while posting comments, most of them get caught by spam, also it really would be more fruitful in knowing people who comment by their real name, rather than by using a name no one relates to. In future we reserve the right to delete comments from users using a name other than their own.
