RSS2GIF, create auto updating gif’s from your rss feeds

Uncategorized

RSS2GIF is a service that allows  you create gif images from your rss feeds, you can then copy the images to any site you want.

To use the service you will have to enter the feed url to the interface provided at RSS2GIF website , the site will then automatically create the html code, you can copy and paste into any other site. You can now create only upto a maximum of 10 links per feed in the image.

The images thus created will contain headlines of the feeds you have chosen to create the image from, just like the one I have created below.

Though the service looks good, they have a lot to imporve like providing hyper links to the feed's links in the images, creating images from more than one feeds etc.

Hopefully they will add such more features in future. The beta service provided is free of cost currently.

RSS2GIF is a cute idea. This end, we’re also offering free RSS based tools - see http://www.rss2.co.uk, which can convert multiple RSS and ATOM feeds into a single, consolidated PDF file without the need for expensive software, computer programming, or complicated RSS readers.

it offers similar features as a plugin not as an external service…
