I get a few questions to help readers out for problems they are facing, so here is a new series where you can simply contact me about your problems and I will try and help you solve about it, all you have to do is send me a email using the contact form and I will try and find the solution and help you out as much as I can.

The current query is from a reader Al who has recentely downloaded Flock and wants to get rid of the large address bars at the top, also he wants to know what Flock is all about.

Al, Flock is a social networking browser that helps you share you bookmarks and pictures using the popular bookmarking service called del.icio.us and the photo sharing network Flickr.

The large thing you see on top is something called a Topbar that Flock browser uses to show you the pictures you have uploaded to your Flickr account. Here is the screenshot of the Topbar, click to see enlarged version.

Here is how you can disable it in a simple step. You can also you the same step to re-enable the feature.

Go to the view menu in the Flock browser and navigate to the tobbar submenu, see screenshot below

If you see a check mark next to photos just click on the submenu once and the huge toolbar will disappear and you will not see it anymore, check screen shot below.

Flock topbar removed

Do contact me using the contact form if you want any of your queries answered. Techie Buzz is about knowing your technology head on and will always strive to help you.

Note: We discourage users from using keywords in their names while posting comments, most of them get caught by spam, also it really would be more fruitful in knowing people who comment by their real name, rather than by using a name no one relates to. In future we reserve the right to delete comments from users using a name other than their own.
