I'm Feeling Lucky

Firefox 3 has been released and the tips and tricks are flowing in quite nicely. Firefox 3 has a nice little password manager that allows you to store and manage your passwords.

With Firefox 3 it has become much more easier to find and manage your passwords for any given site.

To quickly access and view stored passwords for any given site simply click on the favicon you can view more information about it.

Simply click on the security tab in the new window that is shown when you click on more information button and view the saved passwords for that particular site.

By the way, Keith I stumbled this article but your SU image leads to a 404 page. I had to use my SU toolbar to stumble it. Just a F.Y.I.

Remembering passwords really saves time but, nyone remembering their password in firefox should apply a master password so that nyone else using the computer may not access or view the remembered passwords.

Good point, abhishek. I was just thinking about that the other day. I still haven’t figured out how to actually tell Firefox to remember a password yet either.

Keith, any word at how secure these passwords are protected?
