My friend has run Avast and AVG antivirus software programs but this problem is still there.. she tried to download Spybot search and destroy and is not able to coz it keeps giving server error msg! well, the GeekSquad is asking for $200 and she'd have to leave the pc for at least a week which is not an option.. will ask her to run the program you sent yesterday and see if that helps but I think a full formatting might still be required... sent her the link to this post :) Thank you so much for writing this Keith!
