I decided to check if the product code for the XP operating system was the same as the authenticity lable. As the N510 does not have a back up CD and no drive I searched for I386 folder. This worked well and the product code was displayed as you stated on the last line. Thanks for your help. Unfortunately the product key for the operating system is different to the one on the sticker, but thats another problem I have to resolve. Thanks again.
