AjaxXLS online based spreadsheet viewer is live.

ajaxxls ajaxxls 0.5 was announced and went live today. ajaxxls is a online based spreadsheet viewer with a look and feel similar to that of microsoft excel, it allows you to view an xls file online without having to have any conventional desktop softwares installed on your machine.

ajaxxls ia another product from the stable of ajaxlaunch – ajax applications for everyone. with this there have been a flood of online office document editors and viewers that allow a user to view or edit all types of office documents online. basic requirements to use ajaxxls is firefox 1.5 or higher and a internet connection.

funcionality

in this first release you will be able to open spreadsheet files with all commom cell formatting such as text style, decimals, currencies, date, and time.

ajaxxls preserves your formulas, backgrounds and borders from the files created in microsoft excel or openoffice.

in addition to this ajaxxls is also platform independent and can be used across various operating sysytem. also ajaxxls requires no standard installation and the only requirement to use ajaxxls is a internet connection.
