Given that Directory Opus caters to the experienced crowd, how far would you go in recommending it to a non-poweruser? However, if you just want that 90% improvement that tabbed browsing and a dual-pane view provides, go with xplorer2 or similar. You will probably be more comfortable, spend a lot less time learning the quirks, and never miss the power features that I use every day in dopus.
