By on March 2nd, 2010

It has only been a little over 4 months since was launched and Microsoft has already sold over 90 million copies. The revelation was made by Microsoft CFO Peter Klien at the recent Morgan Stanley Technology, Media & Telecom conference.

Windows 7

There is no doubt that Windows 7 is the best OS created by Microsoft till date, and it has had rave reviews all throughout, but this feat definitely shows how much people are adapting to Windows 7.

So have you bought your copy of Windows 7 yet? Or are you waiting for more proof on how good it is? If you are a Windows 7 user, do feel free to share your experience with it as opposed to other OS you have used from Microsoft.

I have a copy of Windows 7 but have not installed it yet. Still putting together the hardware to install the OS on. I have installed it on other family members machines though (and subsequently have a profile setup on that machine for when I crash there).. I like the interface but when it was installed there were driver issues (it was back in November when OS first came out). I fixed those and since then I have not had any issues with it – granted I am only on that machine only every-now-and-then but it works for me.

I did install my copy on a test box (did not activate – saving the license for real build). Permissions on my data drive got alittle scrambled for an open-source game I had. Was alot of work to fix but these issues were fixable.
