There is nothing forcing you to change, but like you, I didn’t want to leave XP. Firstly, my laptop wasn’t the best spec for Vista, so I ignored it completely. I have followed the making of 7 for a while now, and was so intruiged that I tried it. Trust me, this OS is so much more efficient than XP – it even runs faster! This is because of a better RAM allocation design. It is fantastic.

They sure don’t waste any time! Windows 7 has just been released and already there is a Service PAck in the offing. I’ll wait until the service pack is out before even considering switching over from my trusty old XP. It does the job at present, pretty much hassle free, so why change just for the sake of changing?
