DLF Indian Premier League

Deccan Chargers or Kolkata Knight Riders, folks? Questions like these will be in the lips of all those who will be watching the DLF IPL Twenty20 series and this is just the first day’s dilemma. Yes, there will be matches between Royal Challengers Bangalore, Kings XI Punjab, Mumbai Indians, Delhi Daredevils, Rajasthan Royals and Chennai Super Kings, as well as the aforementioned two teams. This will be Cricket ka Mahayudh (The great war of cricket) and with fanboys and girls screaming their team’s name over and over again, it will be entertainment like none other.

As people in all the hosting cities gear up for matches by buying tickets and apparel the excitement is palpable. A larger segment of people, however, will be watching the games on their television screens cheering loudly at every six and four their home team gathers and booing every run out or LBW. This time’s IPL T20 series also allows for laptop-warriors and smartphone-addicts to keep at it. How, you ask? Well, the IPL will be live-streamed to you over the internet to your laptop or your cellphone. This will be done by none other than YouTube itself!

Yes, the official IPL channel on YouTube will be streaming all sixty matches live as they happen (with a few minutes’ difference). You can even watch the live stream on the go on your mobile. Though the livestream mobile page is not yet live(get it?), most of the page is up and running. We will be updating you with links as soon as they are fired up. Gear yourself for an awesome month and a half in front of your laptop or your smartphone as the DLF IPL 2010 starts streaming live!

You will find more info at the Official Google Blog and the Official YouTube Blog.
