Watch 16th Screen Actors Guild Awards 2010 Online

Screen Actor Guild Awards or SAG Awards is one of the most prestigious and highly talked about award ceremonies on the globe. The first SAG awards started way back in 1995 and nominations of the awards come from 4200 randomly selected members of the union. In the previous years, TNT has aired the event, however this year you can also watch the event on TBS.

When Will It Be Aired?

The 16th SAG awards will be aired live on 23rd January at 8PM ET/7PM CT on TNT and TBS.  A repeat coverage will be shown on TNT at 11PM ET/10PM CT. The channels will also cover all the Red Carpet arrivals along with E! and CNN. Please check your local listings for timings in your area.

SAG 2010 Nominees

The nominees of the 16th Screen guild awards are quite a lot to choose from. Among the leading actors and actresses are Jeff Bridges, George Clooney, Colin Firth and Morgan Freeman. Sandra Bullock and Meryl Streep are hot bets in the Outstanding performance by a Female Actor. Matt Damon, Penelope Cruz, Christopher Plummer and Diane Kruger are listed in the Supporting actors nomination list.

Betty White will be honored with Screen Actors Guild’s 46th Annual Life Achievement Award. This is the most prestigious award among all the categories as it is voted by the Guild’s national honors and Tributes committee.
