Despite months of speculation and thousands of blog posts about the Apple Tablet, there are still no confirmed details or genuine photos available about the device. Everyone is adding their own bits to the information after being tipped by anonymous insiders, something which has just added to the confusion instead of putting up a clear picture.
Well, one blog has had enough about it. Valleywag, a popular blog, is willing to pay up to $100,000 if you can provide some solid material about the Apple tablet. Here’s how they will pay:
- $10,000 for genuine pictures.
- $20,000 for a video of the device.
- $50,000 for pictures/videos of Steve Jobs holding one.
- $100,000 if you can let Valleywag play with one for an hour.
The prizes, however, would not be paid until after Apple officially announces the tablet (rumored to be on 27th January 2010) and it is confirmed that the photos/videos are genuine. Valleywag promises to keep your information anonymous. If you have some authentic information, you can send it to email@example.com.
One a side note, popular blogs like TechCrunch are speculating that Valleywag can get into some legal trouble over this scavenger hunt for Apple tablet since by offering an incentive, they are inducing a breach of the NDA that everybody with a tablet must have signed.
