Twitter Rolls Out Minor Design Changes, New Default Background and More Prominent Fonts

Looks like Twitter [1] is paying more attention to its layout now that Facebook [2] has started copying more of its features.
In a refreshing change this morning Twitter has added a new default background which consists of clouds and have also made changes to the fonts they use to display the following and follower count.
The new design definitely provides a more pleasant interface. What are your thoughts about it?
