Techie Buzz Banned By Digg
By on January 7th, 2008

I was in for a little shocker when Ashish alerted me that Digg has banned Techie Buzz. While Digging content from this site you may see a message like the one below;

 This URL has been widely reported by users as being regularly used to spam Digg’s submission process and cannot be submitted at this time.

I do not understand why the Ban has been applied for the site even though only selective content from this site gets Dugg. I have followed up with Digg support and hope that they will unban this site from Digg.

This also explains why one of the posts written by Shankar did not hit the front page even though it had got more Digg’s than most of the Front Page articles at that time. I just hope that they unban us and help us reach to a wider audience.

Nevertheless this blog has reached another milestone of breaking in the top 4000 blogs on Technorati. Thanks for all your support and do keep sharing content with others using other social networking platforms.

I will keep you’ll updated on the news I receive from Digg support.
