Google Operating System's blog has an interesting article on how you can search from within Google's searches.
The list includes searching Google services, using the popular search site feature in combination of the inurl that Goolge uses.
You can do a search in search for Goolge blog search, Google Trends, Google Base and lots of other Google services.
