Richard Branson Launching "Project" A Magazine for iPad
British billionaire Richard Branson who also owns the Virgin Atlantic airline will be launching a magazine for iPad called "Project" next week. This report comes within a week after media mogul Rupert Murdoch announced a similar newspaper deal with iPad.
The magazine which will be named "Project" which will include entertainment, travel, business, design and international culture. Branson has always been on top of technology offering Wi-Fi technologies on most of its planes. Branson will be unveiling the new "Project" magazine for iPad next Tuesday in New York City.
Apple’s iPad is one of the best device for reading and devouring content, so dedicated magazines and newspapers for the device definitely make sense. It would be interesting to see how many more publications decide to create iPad friendly offerings. 2011 will also see a host of Android based tablets and other OS tablets seeing the light of day, so most of these offerings may also make its way to them in future.
