Quickie in the news

Well that sums it up, just got back from a very hard week of work so would rather start posting with a quickie.

Apple iPhone [1] went on sale today in NY and I will get mine by tomorrow. Keep reading for pictures and features. Check out more about the lines that were there here at 5th Avenue [2] where I work.

Google Desktop [3] is now available for Linux platforms. Wow that’s one thing I wanted always now I can seriously search and find files on my test Linux box. This is a beta version though so can expect a lots of bugs.

This version supports searching text, thunderbird emails, openoffice docs, images, music in addition to searching pdf and other files.

Windows Live Folders [4] is finally live and I am closed beta tester so hang on for the product review.

And finally I am back to blogging, do apologize for the lack of posts over the last week. Got to catch on a lot of unread feeds too, so a long weekend ahead for me.
