First of, it was a pleasure to see the Notion Ink Adam finally shipping last week. However, it looks like bad publicity is written in their fate. From the launch fiasco to shipping problems, this device is getting into the news for the all the wrong reasons.

Some of the people who pre-ordered the Adam got their units today, however, instead of enjoying one of the best Android tablets, people are handling a device that won’t even start. This issue is occurring when a user applies an Over-the-Air (OTA) software update to the device.

Android Police are in possession of a picture of the bricked unit and also an email from the Notion Ink team about "NOT APPLYING" the OTA update to the device. This is definitely been a ridiculous journey for a device that showed much promise.
Hopefully, the problem should not take a long time to fix, however, it shouldn’t have happened at all, considering all the things that the Adam had to endure during the past couple of months.
