Mailbigfile 1 gb emails

another one of the cool sites i found and would like to review is mailbigifle.com which uses web 2.0 technology

in today's email accounts that we have the maximum amount of attachment we can send is about 10mb – 100mb, imagine a site that allows you to send an email with a file upto 1 gb attachment, woh! with that size you can send a whole movie through email.

thinking about sending a movie through email, there was once a time when people couldnt even send a music file through email, with such good sites avialable, who would want to use regular email.

mailbigfile.com allows you to do the same send emails with files upto 1 gb of size.

some of the features of mailbigfile

  • web based – no software to download, if you can see the web, you can use mail big file.
  • easy to use – 3 simple steps and your file is on it's way.
  • free – no cost, no registration – just start sending files.
  • safe – with the option to secure your file with 128-bit encyption, mail big file is more secure than standard email.
  • virus free – all files are virus scanned.
  • send big files – up to 1gb in size.
  • progress meter – now features a progress meter.

    • though there are limitations in it now, like you can only send the file to one email address, but what the heck, just create a free account at gmail with 2 gb of space and share it among friends.

    another limitation is that each file will only be avialable only for 7 days and maximum of 3 downloads only.

    though the best news is that it is absolutely free, so dont fret along with the limitations, start using it now.

      but you can send and receive 1gb attachments only to/from another mailbigfile account, right?
