Lenovo launches new 7-inch Android Tablet, the A7-50, in India for ₹15,499

Lenovo has launched the all-new A7-50 Android tablet featuring an HD IPS display with wide viewing angle. The 7-inch tablet is just 9.6mm thin, and weighs a mere 360 grams.

Lenovo A7-50Powered by a 1.3GHz quad core processor with 1GB RAM, the 3G tablet delivers smooth Android experience. Equipped with dual cameras, the A7-50 has a 5 MP rear camera and a 2 MP front camera. The tablet packs in 16 GB internal storage upgradeable to 32 GB via an external SD card. Lenovo claims that the 3450mAh battery lasts upto 7 and a half hours on one full charge.

The A7-50 packs in Android 4.2, but is upgradable to Android KitKat. The tablet also comes preloaded with premium apps called SHAREit, SECUREit, and SYNCit to enhance the user experience. SHAREit helps in rapid sharing of photos, apps across devices without network charges or a Wi-Fi connection, while SECUREit helps speed up the device and protect against viruses, spam, malware; and SYNCit helps back up & restore the user’s contacts, SMS messages and call logs.

The tablet is available in black and midnight blue colors at an estimated retail price of ₹15,499.
