I presume the Google Chrome OS will support printers and other plugin devices, which means manufacturers would need to create drivers. I like the idea of an operating system that competes with Microsoft, but it will be interesting to see if it really can compete in the real world environment. Open Source means that the considerable premium operating system software commands on the purchase price of a netbook (and trust me, pc’s & laptops soon enough) will not apply, making mobile computing so much more affordable.
