Gmail gets Google Presentation Feature
By on May 16th, 2007

Google Blogoscoped reports that users have started to see a View Presentation link for power point attachments. Users have started to see the Google Presentation integration into gmail. You can now view the presentation online without having to download the file to your computer.

Google Presentation is part of the online office suite Google has created with also includes applications like Docs and Spreadsheets. The suite allows users to add, edit and collaborate office documents online.

Unfortunately this feature is only avialable to random users, I tried sending myself a powerpoint but did not see the link. Do let me know if you see it in your inbox.

With this addition when you click on the view presentation link a new window will open up where you can view the slide show. Right clicking on the window allows you to control the way the presentation is displayed.

So looks like Google is all set to complete the Office Suite trilogy and add the final nail on the coffin by adding Google Presentation to Google Docs & Spreadsheets. Hopefully they will make it avialable to a large user base shortly.
