Yahoo Insider is a little annoying window that pops up when Yahoo! Messenger loads. It slows down Yahoo Messenger, so here’s a way to get rid of the Yahoo Insider pop-up.

  • Sign in to Yahoo Messenger with your Yahoo ID
  • The Yahoo Insider pop-up will open. Close it.
  • In the Menu bar, go to Messenger >> Preferences
  • Under General uncheck ‘Show Yahoo Messenger Insider’
  • Remove Yahoo Insider

  • Click ‘Apply’ and then ‘OK’

The Yahoo Insider Popup window will never open again when you sign into Yahoo Messenger.

Note: We discourage users from using keywords in their names while posting comments, most of them get caught by spam, also it really would be more fruitful in knowing people who comment by their real name, rather than by using a name no one relates to. In future we reserve the right to delete comments from users using a name other than their own.
