I used it quite often as where I am I dont go offline ever ;). But still I love this feature as I can simply download the feeds and read them on a bus or train when I am travelling longer distances.

The only reason why I didn’t use Google Reader before was that I couldn’t use it offline. Now with this development, I’m definitely gonna shift to Google Reader. :D

Yup I bet Gmail will soon have the same functionality to take your mails offline without having to use any other clients :-).

I’ve been waiting for Google to make a desktop compatible version of Google Reader. Although this isn’t the same, it kind of is and I’m looking forward to trying it.

It does, maybe it is a bug so you can try on another pc and report to Google, anyways it is not even a product from Google labs so expect lots of bugs in it.

Were you able to use the Offline feature of Reader in Windows ? I tried but it is not working.
