Acer launches ICONIA A1-713, their latest 7-inch Android tablet with voice calling

Over the weekend, Acer India announced the launch of its compact and lightweight 7-inch tablet, the Acer ICONIA A1-713 with voice-calling facility.


The tablet sports a slim metallic design with a premium look and feel. At 305 grams, it’s pretty light and is 8.9mm thin. The ICONIA A1-713 features a 7-inch display with a resolution of 1,024 x 600 and a pixel density of 170ppi.

Powered by a quad-core MediaTek chipset clocked at 1.3GHz, the tablet packs in a GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. It runs on the dated Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, although the company announced that an Android 4.4 KitKat update will be on its way. The tablet features a modest 2-megapixel camera at the back, and a VGA one on the front.

The Acer ICONIA A1-713 tablet is available for sale immediately at a price of ₹ 12,999.
