Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc and Xperia Play have been launched in India. Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc comes with a price tag of Rs.32,000, while the Xperia Play is available for Rs.35,000.

Sony Ericsson has just announced that they will support the unlocking of the boot loader on their latest Xperia branded handsets.

The official Sony Ericsson product blog has explained all the camera improvements which the upcoming Xperia Arc will be incorporating. The Xperia Arc will feature a back illuminated sensor and a brand new camera UI.

During the CES 2011, there were hardly Android phones which were running Android 2.3 – Gingerbread. Most of the handsets were based on Android 2.2 (Froyo). However, one handset which caught the attention of the media was the Sony Ericsson Arc.

The Sony press conference at the CES 2011 just got over and the company announced its latest Xperia handset – the Xperia Arc. The Arc is the successor to the Xperia X10. The handset is powered by a 1GHz Snapdragon processor and has a 4.2-inch ‘multi-touch’ Sony Bravia powered display.

The Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc, a new Android smartphone previously known as the Anzu has been leaked ahead of its official CES announcement. It has a 4.2 inch display and comes with an 8 MP camera.
