Toshiba Excite 10 LE Coming To US On March 6 For $529.99

Toshiba has already launched some of the powerful Android tablets in the past. This year, the company surprised us with its latest tablet device, the Toshiba Excite X10. This tablet was announced last month at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2012 in Las Vegas. The Toshiba Excite X10 is touted to be the world’s thinnest and lightest 10 inch tablet measuring just 0.3 inches (7.7mm) thin and weighing just 1.18 pounds (535g).

Toshiba Excite X10 will be finally available for purchase in the US, starting from next week. However, the company will sell this device with a new name, the Toshiba Excite 10 LE. Toshiba Excite X10 features 10.1 inch IPS display, sporting a resolution of with 1280 x 800 pixels, 1.2 Ghz dual-core OMAP 4430 processor, Android 3.2 Honeycomb OS (upgradable to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS), 5 megapixel rear camera, 2 megapixel front-facing camera, DLNA capability and more.

Other features include a 3.5 mm headset jack, Wi-Fi 801.11 b/g/n, microSD card slot, 32 GB expandable memory, Toshiba Media Player, Think Free Office, Evernote, GPS, Bluetooth 2.1 +EDR, Micro-HDMI, Micro-USB 2.0, Android Market and Toshiba’s SRS sound enhancement technology.
