As expected, Three UK’s variant will come with the 1.9 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 quad-core processor instead of the 1.6 GHz Exynos 5 octa-core processor.

Sony Xperia Z is the company’s flagship device. This stunning handset was announced last month at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2013 in Las Vegas. Apart from its powerful specs, the Xperia Z is also a water and dust resistant smartphone with a durable glass display.

The Sony Xperia Z was expected to launch on March 1, 2013 in the UK. However, the device went on sale one day earlier at major retailers and wireless carriers. Three UK, a mobile carrier in the United Kingdom, has opened preorders for the recently announced HTC One. The device is available for £34 per month on the company’s Unlimited Internet 500 plan or for £36 per month on the company’s The One Plan. Both of these plans come with 24-month contracts. If you’d like, you can pay £479.99 for the device on a pay-as-you-go plan without a contract. As of now,  the carrier is offering both the silver and black iterations of the device for preorder and expects the phones to be delivered on the 15th of March. 

The HTC One was announced on the 19th of this month and is HTC’s new flagship smartphone. The device is powered by Android 4.1.2 and runs on a 1.7GHz quad-core Qualcomm CPU with 2GB of RAM. In terms of storage, you’ll have 32GB of storage to fill with apps, music and other content from the Google Play Store. The device is NFC-ready and features a giant 4.7″ 1080p display with a pixel density of 468 pixels-per-inch.

HTC Finally Unveils The Android 4.0 Powered Desire C Smartphone

Yesterday, we posted the leaked press shot and specs of the HTC’s upcoming Desire C smartphone. Today, HTC finally announced the entry-level HTC Desire C smartphone in the UK. This handset runs on the latest Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) Operating System. It allows you to access more than 400,000 apps from Google Play Store. The HTC Desire C will be available for Vodafone, Orange, T-Mobile, Virgin Media, Three, O2 subscribers in the UK.

Last month, HTC announced 3 new smartphone in its latest HTC One family, the HTC One X, HTC One S and HTC One V. Three UK is currently rolling out a new software update for the Samsung Galaxy S II. The company has recently tweeted about this software update, but they have not yet released the official changelog. You cannot update your device using the Samsung Kies desktop software, since it is available only via. Over-The-Air.

There are no major changes in this update. This software update is expected come with minor fixes and improvements.
