This Sunday, Go to the Most Secure Super Bowl Ever

The Super Bowl is one of the largest sporting events in the US. This Sunday, the Super Bowl will take the Internet by storm once again, and companies will compete head on to put up their best advertisement. However, what goes on behind the scene in such mega events, go unnoticed when there are $116,666 per second worth of advertisements running to fill up the gaps.

The Super Bowl sees tightly integrated security measures. However, for the coming Super Bowl on Sunday, security has been upped considerably, and it is believed that this is the most secure Super Bowl to have happened ever! Super Bowl is already a National Special Security Event, and this video demonstrates the security measures in place, at this Super Bowl, 2012.

The technologies used by the department of Homeland Security, for this Super Bowl include, but are not limited to Mobile Gamma-ray Vehicle Scanners (can look through six inches of steel), Mobile command Center and non-exploding manhole covers. The Department of Homeland Security has built an $18 million Regional Operations Center over 76,000 square foot at Indianapolis, which will co-ordinate all federal agencies involved in the Super Bowl. Besides the mega-command center, there is another million-dollar mobile command center, which has been built by Verizon.

In addition to these measures, they have also set up a surveillance network of cameras, which can be accessed through a web address. Cameras will also be deployed on helicopters and moving vehicles.

With every passing year, the Super Bowl gets bigger and this upped security brings out the best in all law enforcement agencies. Enjoy a safe Super Bowl, this Sunday.

Google "Parisian Love" Parody "Parisian Oops" is Here

Yesterday, Google had aired an ad during the 3rd quarter of Super Bowl, dubbed as "Parisian Love". The ad was cute and showed how people could use Google to search almost anything.

However, less than a day later a parody video has already debuted on the Internet. The video called as "Parisian Oops" has been released by the Upright Citizens Brigade Beta Team also know as The Brig.

The video mocks the original ad by Google and turns it into somewhat more adult in nature. Have fun watching the video below.

Google Super Bowl XLIV 2010 Commercial

For the first time in Google’s and Super Bowl history, Google ran a commercial during the 3rd quarter of Super Bowl XLIV (44). The ad focused on how easy it was to search and showed users on how easy it was to find things in Paris, France.

Though the ad was definitely perplexing as it was Super Bowl, it definitely was cute and showed how easy it was to find things using Google, and focused on search, maps, dictionary and Wikipedia.

Google Might Advertise Chrome, Nexus One or Google Apps at Super Bowl

Super Bowl, the pinnacle of American Football has always seen some extravagant ads in the past. Super Bowl ads are a sure shot way to get the much needed eyeballs for products. According to a TechCrunch report, which was based on a tweet by Eric Schmidt, the CEO of Google, there is a very high chance that you might see a , or Google Apps ad at the Super Bowl XLIV.

Eric Schmidt's Tweet on Google Super Bowl Ads

According to the tweet, Schmidt suggested that the ad will air in the 3rd quarter interval. I am guessing that the ad would probably be about Nexus One, since Google has not advertised about it on television yet. However, it could also be a mixed promotion for Google Chrome, Nexus One and Google Apps. Only time will tell what we will see.

Super Bowl ads are surrounded with secrecy so it is really hard to tell what we will be shown to viewers. So see you at the 3rd quarter break Schmidt and Google. By the way, if you do not have access to television you can always catch up on the Super Bowl XLIV Live Coverage Online.

If you watch American Football, you must obviously have heard about the Super Bowl. Yes, I am talking about the championship game of the National Football League (NFL) since 1967 also known as Super Bowl, this year is Super Bowl XLIV (44).

Super Bowl XLIV (44) 2010

This year’s game will pit the American Football Conference (AFC) champion Indianapolis Colts against the National Football Conference (NFC) winner New Orleans Saints against each other in what has always been America’s favorite Super Bowl Sunday, this 7th of February, 2010; kick-off at 6:30PM EST at the Sun Life Stadium, Miami, Florida. Since the game’s glittering status, it has become the time when companies shoot their most expensive advertisements and air it during the commercials’ time. The half-time has also attracted live shows from the likes of Aerosmith, Bruce Springsteen, Christina Aguilera and a number of others. The 2009 season’s Super Bowl will feature rock band The Who as the half-time ceremony performers.

Colts saints

The Indianapolis Colts enter the Super Bowl with a record of 14-2, while the New Orleans Saints will play with a record of 13-3. Though this may seem like the Colts have an edge over the Saints, only time will tell on Super Bowl Sunday when the match is relayed live over many broadcasts, especially CBS and BBC-Sport.

The game definitely be a high scoring one, with both the Quarterbacks in good form. Peyton Manning for the Colts will definitely play a huge role in the finale, but don’t write off the Saints quarterback Drew Brees.

The CBS live coverage will broadcast the entire game including the pre-game performance by Carrie Underwood and Queen Latifah and the half-time performance of The Who, along with the rest of the game live online. BBC Sport will also cover this exciting finale of the 2009 season of the NFL.
